Term-time Saturdays, 9:30-10:30, Knaphill School field (accessed via Lower
School main gate or the gate between the school field and Sussex Road
park)

** CURRENT SCHEDULE: ** .
The next session will be the 11th February
There is likely to be a frost on Saturday morning. If the pitch is frozen we will be unable to run a football session. Please check the website before leaving the house
Join us for informal skills training followed by a match at the end of each session. Children in all years from Nursery to Year 6, boys and girls, all abilities, are welcome. Our aim is fun and an hour's exercise with the added bonus of giving many children their first experience of a team game.
The children's welfare remains the responsibility of their parents. If we keep warm and protected, we'll enjoy the football all the more!
We do occasionally have to cancel the session due to poor conditions (waterlogged or frozen pitch). We try to give advance notice if this is the case. If you wish to receive an email on Friday night to say if football is on or off, please send an email to us and we will put you on the information list.
More Parent Volunteers Needed
Saturday football is run by parent volunteers. To continue the success of this activity, the PTA needs more helpers. This involves arriving 30 minutes early to set up, coaching the players and then packing away afterwards. No prior experience is necessary. The other volunteers, and children, will help you learn the routine. This is a great opportunity to get some exercise and fresh air with your children and experience the satisfaction of watching the skills and confidence of all the players improve.
Even if you can't help every week, we would still like to hear from you - the more volunteers we have, the easier it is for all.
To find out more, speak to James Blake at Saturday football or email.
